Make Melania Goth Again

I don’t often think of Melania Trump unless I’m getting a blow out, which hasn’t happened in maybe three years. We’re also well past the era of “free Melania” - she made her bed and all the rest. Although I always feel sorry for a woman who hates her husband, my associations with her are strongly negative because she’s so boring and has such atrocious taste.

But sometimes I google people I hate, and in the context of the recent election I found myself curious about her style evolution. I wondered what she looked like before she met D*****. I honestly didn’t find anything exciting or interesting - it turns out she’s always had a sort of frozen face and vacant stare. What I did find, however, is that like so many of us in the early 2000’s, she also went through a goth/emo phase with side bangs and a deep side part:

I’m well aware that this isn’t goth by most standards, but I think for her, it is. I had this exact same hair style and color in 2005, along with the accompanying fake tan. I guess it sort of makes me nostalgic for the decade when everyone was a little goth. Honestly I looked great, and Melania has never looked better.
